The starlings are no longer crapping all over my door step but they now are crapping on my stairwell so I guess I need to order another Hawk. The one I currently have is posted on a wooden pole. It moves slightly in the wind and looks very real. The next one I purchase I believe I will fill it with sand, and set it on one of the steps because there is no where to mount a pole or hang it from something. I am very pleased with my purchase! If you have bird problems I would recommend purchasing one of these Hawks. 8 of 8 people found the following review helpful Bird-B-Gone effectiveness, By This review is from: Bird B Gone MMRTH1 Hawk Decoy (Lawn & Patio) have only had one tomato bird picked since installing the hawk. must move it frequently to maintain its effectiveness, 7 of 8 people found the following review helpful Does not chase away American Robins or Black Birds!, This review is from: Bird B Gone MMRTH1 Hawk Decoy (Lawn & Patio) I've been bombarded by dive bombers (a.k.a. I also laid bungee cords in the tree and on the ground (to act as snakes) which also did not work. I'm trying to be nice to nature, and find ways to resolve my issues without killing any birds. My neighbor also took drastic measures and got one of the Bird-B-Gone Owls, that "hoots" and that also did not work! We both knock... Read more |
