Because of that, it is relatively heavy for an object of it's size but it also feels very sturdy and very well made. The rock detailing on the surface of the stone is very high quality and you might think you were looking at a polished/smoothed stone if you didn't know any better. The butterfly itself also has detailing in the wings. The butterfly is made of very thin pieces of metal that are about half as thick as a penny. The butterfly does feel a little flimsy, but so long as you are not tugging on it or constantly messing with it, it seems like it will stay in place very well. ** OTHER DETAILS ** ------------------- The bottom of the stone is not detailed like the... The only problem is that the metal butterfly is not stainless steel and is therefore beginning to rust, which is therefore starting to stain the stone around it. I will keep it because the words are meaningful to me and I have grown to like it. It is lightweight resin with sandstone coloring. |
