1.0 out of 5 stars Solar Powered Gargoyle Statue, August 11, 2010

While the statues themselves are cute, the first one I bought (intending it as a present) would only light up one eye. The company I purchased it from sent me a second one when I let them know about the problem. The problem is, NEITHER eye would light up on the second one! And it wasn't the battery--I checked that by switching out the batteries. So I sent both back. They're cute enough statues, just don't expect the eyes to light.

4.0 out of 5 stars Gargoyle statue lacks one thing; not enough light, December 28, 2010

I love the statue in my garden, and again requires no electricity. I like that the solar panels get the morning sun and the afternoon sun so the lights work well. My disappointment is that only the two little eyes light up so all you see are two dots without knowing what in the heck the item is at night. It is a great statue but maybe it should have been made with some more accent lighting so you can tell what it is at night and not just in the day.

The eyes on this statue are crooked and only 1 lights. It sits in back the garden so no big deal. But I would not recommend this if it sits close to a walkway.
