A Bulldog wouldn't be my first choice but it can get windy around here and he looked heavy. I bought "Spike" to use as a laugh at car shows. I had him one day before trying him out at a local "Hooters" show. There were only about 25 cars that showed up, but I believe more people made comments about or photographed him than any of the cars in the show. I put him on my driveway for a couple of days and ran a leash back from his collar like he had gotten away from someone. Got a few people to stop by or call. The novelty wears off quickly, but every now and then he is good to break the monotony. He is very lifelike, even up close. Even the neighborhood dogs are wary of him. Well made and well done.

I purchased this statue with the intention of painting it to match my real life bulldog. It was easy to cover with paint I had bought at a local Michael's hoby/craft store. It looks great and I get a ton of comments on it. I am planning on using it at car and motorcycle shows when I place my vehicles in them. I really like this item and highly recommend it.
