The only issue with this wonderful little gnome is that his basket holds water, so if you put him outdoors, you'll have to empty it when it rains.

Okay, so a lot of us lie about our height. This guy, including his hat, almost makes 9.5 inches. Maybe exaggerating helps his self-esteem. The detail is good. He's definitely an attractive fellow, but very lightweight. I expect, unless I fill his basket with fishing weights, he is going to succumb to every stiff breeze that comes his way. He is nowhere near the substantial quality of the cast-stone gnome I bought at Target for $5 less. In fact, I'd better keep them separated. This little piece of fluff would definitely end up on the losing side if they got into any kind of altercation.
